Rules & Regulations
Please read these rules carefully and make sure other family members and guests are aware of them. Our purpose is to promote the safe enjoyment of Crystal Bay on Possum Kingdom.
Cabin/Cottage Rental Rules
- $100 security/cleaning deposit is required at check-in. Credit Card is required for security deposit. Deposit will not be charged on check-out if cabin is left in same condition as when rented. Garbage must be placed in garbage bags and put in trash cans provided or taken to dumpster. Floors should be swept or mopped, if needed. Management will inspect all premises at check-out. Failure to leave cottage clean will result in loss of $100 security/cleaning deposit.
- NO SMOKING IN CABINS AT ANY TIME. NO SMOKING AND NO OPEN FIRES are permitted on the marina docks at any time. Smoking in cabins will result in an additional $200 cleaning fee. If you do smoke outside, dispose of ashes and butts properly in an ashtray or trash can. No cigarette butts are to be thrown on the grounds. Do Not throw lighted butts into the water! Floating fuel or vapors can ignite. No fireworks on Marina property or on the docks.
- All parking is confined to the designated marked parking areas with a maximum of two (2) cars per cabin.
- Observe posted speed limits. Watch out for children at play.
- Supervise children at the playground area.
- Please NO RUNNING on the docks, walkways or steps. Use caution on all walkways and stairs.
- Children age ten (10) and under must wear a life jacket at all times when on the docks, walkway or swimming from the swim platform. Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult. There is no lifeguard on duty.
- Quiet hours begin at 10:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 a.m. NO FIREWORKS OR FIREARMS ALLOWED on Marina Property.
- Absolutely no underage drinking is allowed on the Marina Property. Anyone who is so intoxicated that they cause a problem will be immediately removed from the property.
- Although we love animals, we have a NO PET policy for the consideration of all our guests. Any evidence of pets in cabins will result in a $200 fee, loss of remaining nights and NO refund.
- A limited number of boat slips are available for cabin renters for an additional charge. Overnight boat slips with trailer parking in our designated lots are available on a first come, first serve basis, extra charges apply. Please reserve in advance to insure availability.
- Charcoal grills are provided. Bring or buy charcoal at our store.
